Chair Lovebirds is a small fruit wood chair with curved swan necks. The chair is from the 20th century and empire style. Chair lovebirds has been adjusted to MOMIQ design and has been upholstered with a blue fabric from Houles at the front. The back has been covered with an antique suzani fabric. Suzanis are embroidered pieces of cloth made in the region of Central Asia. They are an important part of a girl’s dowry and are also used for decorative purposes in Central Asian households. The suzani shows birds and flowers. Birds symbolize liberation and freedom. The birds connection to the sky is also considered as a supernatural link between heaven and earth. Most people believe that the flower motives are symbols of fertility and prosperity.
